A seat is one person. One seat covers that person on all their devices — their work laptop, their field tablet, their home machine.

Each browser/device where you activate a license key counts as one device. Professional seats include up to 3 devices per seat to cover laptop + tablet + backup.

No. Your PDF is processed entirely within your browser session. Files are never stored on our servers — they're held in memory only while you're working, and discarded the moment you close the tab. What goes in stays with you.
No — it actually extends it. When you connect Google Drive, your file transfers directly between your browser and your own Google account. It never touches PlanInk's servers, same as when you open a file from your device. We don't have a cloud — we just connect to yours.
Yes. JPG, PNG, BMP, and WEBP photos are converted automatically to a centered, Letter-size PDF page — no separate conversion step, and the photo never leaves your browser, only the resulting PDF. HEIC, the default on many iPhones, isn't supported yet — switch to Most Compatible in your phone's camera settings, or share the photo as a JPEG first.

Yes, once loaded. PlanInk runs entirely in the browser. After the page loads, you can open PDFs from your device, annotate, and save without any internet connection. License validation requires a brief online check on first activation.
